Let’s expose the lie: being spiritual doesn’t mean being broke. In fact, poverty is not humility—it’s often unhealed guilt wrapped in religion. Many Christians have been taught that desiring wealth is sinful. Yet, the same Bible says, “The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 10:22). So why are so many believers still struggling? Simple—money avoids the double-minded.
James 1:8 says, “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” That instability repels provision. One day you’re confident God will provide, the next day you’re panicking over rent. One day you’re sowing seeds, the next you’re doubting harvest. Money is not emotional—but it is spiritual. It flows where clarity lives. It sticks where identity is stable. You can’t manifest wealth while feeling guilty about having it.
God never told you to worship money. He told you to manage it. He said, “Occupy till I come” (Luke 19:13). That word “occupy” means do business. God expects multiplication. Your talent, your skills, your gifts—they are currency. But they won’t produce if you’re emotionally bankrupt, spiritually confused, or mentally scattered. Confusion is expensive. Clarity is profitable.
This is why I don’t teach “sow a seed and wait.” I teach consciousness, stewardship, and strategy. If you still see money as evil, you’ll repel it. If you see wealth as divine purpose empowerment, you’ll attract it. God funds purpose, not pity. He provides for vision, not victimhood. Isaiah 48:17 says, “I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit.” That’s right—profit. Not survival. Kingdom wealth is righteous, not random.
